While I spend a significant portion of my time researching computer graphics and AI algorithms, I believe in maintaining a diverse set of creative and cultural pursuits. Exploring the intersection between logic and art is what drives me, whether through shader programming, language learning, or photography. Here is a glimpse into what keeps me inspired outside of work and studies.
My Hobbies & Interests
Creative Coding & Shader Art
I am fascinated by how mathematics can generate beautiful interactive structures in real-time. I love building shader programs in WebGL/GLSL, exploring procedural graphics, and experimenting with generative models (like image super-resolution and REST pipelines) to restore historical photographs and render digital environments.
Japanese Language & Culture
Having completed a research internship in Kyoto, Japan, I fell in love with Japanese culture, hospitality (Omotenashi), and language. To help other language enthusiasts, I built Nihonghub, an interactive Japanese learning web application. I continue to study Japanese, watch media, and explore cultural exchanges.
Travel & Nature Photography
I enjoy traveling to capture natural landscapes and architectural designs. Walking through nature reserves, botanical gardens, and historical sites helps me clear my mind. I love taking photographs that play with natural lighting and colors, which in turn inspires my research in computer graphics.
